Boston University School of Law’s graduate program in banking and financial law is the oldest LL.M. program of its kind in the United States.  The program offers both U.S. and foreign trained lawyers a review of banking and financial laws as well as the ability to register for courses offered by the business school.

On February 27, 2013, Associate Director Martin A. Lacdao will host Andrew Morganti to present to students of the LL.M. Banking & Financial Law program during an extended luncheon.  The presentation will discuss the growth of cross-border arbitration and litigation and the importance of lawyers to understand their clients’ financial goals in order to provide prudent legal advice.   Mr. Morganti will also discuss how having an understanding of banking and financial matters allows lawyers to advise their clients of litigation opportunities to convert capital losses into capital gains.

Andrew Morganti earned his LL.M. International Banking & Financial Law from Boston University in 1999.
